Each carré is hand-cut and hand-sewn by women artisans in Indian villages, supporting independent craft communities and safeguarding textile knowledge passed down through generations. The process is deliberate, human, and time-intensive. And as a result, each piece is unique, with the pattern falling differently on every carré.

Variations in shade, inherent to natural dye baths, as well as variations in weave and finish are not imperfections, but the signature of true handmade production. Each piece is unique.
Care instructions: Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild detergent. Natural indigo dye may release excess pigment during the first washes, this is normal and part of the dyeing process. Do not machine wash. Do not soak. Do not rub or wring. Gently press out excess water and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with light-colored fabrics and surfaces while damp.
